A good listener coupled with an ability to incorporate client’s needs and aspirations, she has a talent for combining modern features with antiques and bespoke furnishings. Her style is characterised by her imaginative use of textures and finishes, injecting colour and pattern to create cohesive, elevated schemes. 

An academic grounding in design, and extensive experience designing built in joinery and as a kitchen designer, have given Vanessa valuable practical foundations that she has seamlessly transferred to her own creative interior designs. Honing her skills at award-winning Helen Green Design and as Lead Designer at The Studio, Harrods’ exclusive in-house design department, was the springboard to setting up her own practice. 

A judicious understanding of space and flow, as well as scale and proportion, ensure that her schemes feel calm, relaxed and inviting, hallmarks of Vanessa’s assured touch. Her enthusiasm coupled with a huge attention to detail ensures that every aspect is carefully considered, whether full scale renovations or smaller projects, for her international private and commercial clients from her studio in The Hague in Holland.
