The Hague, Expat Family Residence
Statenkwartier, Den Haag, NL
Interior Architecture & Interior Design
A family home for long term expats located in the metropolitan city of The Hague.
Designing for clients must always strike an emotional chord and this project was no different. The client was specific in their needs and taste, desiring an attractive home where they could raise their two young children, entertain guests and maximise their main living space - as this is where they would be spending most of their time.
The client sought a design which was relaxed, bold and incorporated a considered sense of colour. The natural light from the generous Dutch windows was maximised by removing existing walls and re-planning of spaces to create an open plan living area, ground floor family bathroom and master bedroom with a walk-in wardrobe.
We re-configured the space of the entire ground-floor, engaged builders and coordinated the entire process through from design to completion and installation of all furniture, fabrics, equipment and accessories.
